On this play #1 (yellow)fakes the hand off to #2 (blue) and then fakes the handoff to #3 (green). #1 immediately begins to roll to the strong side taking 2 to 3 steps before stopping and turning back towards the weakside and throwing the ball to #2 (blue) or #5 (orange) also #4 (red) will be coming across the middle. #3 (green) will run past #1 (yellow) carrying out the fake and then running out his pattern (arrow) to pull defenders away from the play.#4 needs to run a curl route and then release in, coming across the middle through the area that should be cleared by the other routes.
